Apple’s Black Friday deals have switched from a direct drop in price to a future drop in price through gift cards. For one day only, Apple is giving holiday shoppers gift cards with the purchase of select products.
The Apple iPad Air retails for $499 but a $75 Apple Store Gift Card is included with purchase. That money can be used to purchase accessories for the device or other items. Similar deals are available for the original iPad Mini ($50 gift card), iPad 2 ($50 gift card), and Apple TV ($25).
A number of items produced by other companies but sold in Apple Stores are also eligible for the discounts. Visit store.apple.com to browse through the selections and see if anything catches your eye. This is a limited time offer.
